Agyaat movie review: A sad Predator copy

With a movie like Agyaat, we doubt if there will be any Ram Gopal Varma fan left. He is hell-bent in spoiling his reputation as a maker with difference. Agyaat has a clichéd story line, borrows most of its ‘unknown’ angle from Predator. Dialogues are stupid and repetitive of the past RGV films, screenplay is very amateurish. But the worst thing is the criminal way in which Ramu has chosen the ending that will make you guilty about blowing 250 bucks
The story is about a film-making team who come to a jungle for shooting a movie. Due to a technical snag, the team decides to go for a camping trip in the jungle. One after the other each member of the team meets with his or her death by an unknown force. Agyaat is another Darna Mana Hai without the six stories put in. While Darna Mana Hai had collegians going out to a trip and getting murdered by a serial killer, here the Agyaat force(Unknown) kills all of the film crew (except for Nitin Reddy the hero and Priyanka Kothari, the actress).
The plus point of Agyaat is an improved performance by Priyanka Kothari, who is much more than just a glam-puss which she was in every Ramu venture. The other actors Nitin Reddy, Gautam Rode, Ishrat Ali,Ishtiyak Khan, Howard, Rasika Duggal and Kali Prasad do well. But good performances cannot compensate a bad film.
What happens in the end? Well, we cant tell you, but be prepared for a rude shock(for clue ..read the first paragraph). But if you still have the guts to go to the jungle, you are by all means ..welcome!
