Amitabh Bachchan to host Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 4
There are rumors that Amitabh Bachchan will host Kaun Banega Crorepati, Season 4. The show should be on air by the end of 2010. However, the show may not be aired by the same broadcasters. Amitabh Bachchan’s hosting of KBC in 2001 had created a super buzz that led to more game show hosted by celebrities and stars but none of them could live up to the expectations set by KBC 1. 2005 saw the second season of the show, hosted yet again by Big B, in which the prize money was doubled to Rs. 2 crores.However, season two came to an abrupt end because of Bachchan’s illness. Season three saw Shah Rukh Khan as the host in 2007. Apart from KBC, Salman Khan’s Dus Ka Dum Season 2 managed to get some popularity but still lagged behind KBC
Anil Kapoor and Aamir Khan too were reportedly being considered to host the upcoming season. However, well wishers of Big B and audience insisted that he should be brought back.
