Avoid Credit Card Damage

To prevent credit card damage, you need to take the following steps
- Do not keep the credit card in an area having an active magnetic field, for example, near a TV.
- Do not scratch or alter the magnetic strip that contains coded information about the security of your card.
- Do not bend the card or keep two cards with magnetic strips facing each other.
- Keep the credit card away from excessive heat and direct sunlight.
- Never give your card to anyone you don’t know or share your credit card information with anyone, not even someone claiming to represent the bank card issuer or its associates.
- Never reveal your PIN (personal identification number) to anyone, do not keep the card and the ATM PIN together. Give the card back to the credit card official representing the back ONLY AFTER DIAGONALLY CUTTING THE CARD INTO TWO PIECES ACROSS THE MAGNETIC STRI
