Jarno Trulli will be seen with his Toyota team-mate, Timo Glock at the front row of the Bahrain Grand Prix 2009 at Sakhir. Jarno Trulli clocked 1:33.431 and Timo Glock clocked at 1:33.712 on Saturday morning’s final practice sessions. Since Indianapolis grand prix 2005, it was the first pole for Trulli.
China Grand Prix 2009 winner, Sebastian Vettel was 3rdbest with his Red-bull Renualt clocking 1:34.015. The Brawn-Mercedes driver, Jenson Button clocked 1:34.044 and will start at 4thposition and his team-mate Rubens Barrichello clocked start at 6th. McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton will start at 5thand hist team-mate Heikki Kovalainen will start 11th. Even though the Ferrari of Felipe Massa has been giving trouble since the start of the season, he managed to land up his Ferrari at 8th whereas Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen will start at 10th. Williams-Toyota driver, Nico Rosberg will start at 9th in tomorrow’s race. Renault’s Fernando Alonso qualified at 7th position.
Force India’s Sutil qualified at 16th position but he will be demoted 3 places down the grid because of this altercation with Red-bull Renault’ s Mark Webber. Sutil affected Webber’s lap time after Sutil completed his qualifying lap and hampered Webber’s lap timing. Sutil admitted that he mistake and he apologized for it. Webber seemed to be unhappy. Fisichella, the other Force India’s driver will start at 18th.
