Bluetooth 3.0 will be Launched This April
Bluetooth 3.0 is scheduled to launch on the 21st April, 2009. It is believed that Bluetooth 3.0 will be able to deliver short range wirless speeds of upto 480 megabits per second. This speed is achieved because of the ultra-wideband (UWB) radio technology. Bluetooth 3.0 also promises to reduce disconnections that one experiences during syncing with Bluetooth enabled devices.
The new technology called Generic Alternate MAC/PHY will boost the data transfer speed of Bluetooth 3.0 like that of Wi-Fi. Bluetooth 3.0 will be available at a low price. The makers have given importance on low power consumption, hence it can be easily used in battery powered devices like cell phones. More features will be revealed when it will be launched.
More and more people are now using Bluetooth for listening to music via Bluetooth wireless headsets and play videos on their mobile devices, this has resulted in the launch of faster Bluetooth service – Bluetooth 3.0 After the success of Bluetooth 2.0, Bluetooth 3.0 is surely expected to be a huge hit.
