2001: Lagaan: Ashutosh Gowariker’s Lagaan will go down in history as one of the most creative Bollywood movies ever. The director’s imaginative story of a village in Champaner, where the young villager Bhuvan(Aamir Khan) takes on the might of the British Empire by challenging them for a game of cricket on the condition they wouldnt have to pay taxes(lagaan) for three years, worked wonders and the movie won heavy acclaim. Lagaan also got an Oscar nomination and many other awards.

i would like to know the criteria for choosing the best films of decade.
If the criteria is for commercial work then its fine. But if it is for a good muvie then u have forgot many of those
