Mumbai Indians beat Rajasthan Royals by 4 runs. Yusuf Pathan hit he fastest century of the Indian Premier League to aid Rajasthan Royals fightback from the dead against Mumbai Indians at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai, on Saturday. Yusuf scored 100 runs off a mere 37 balls,having hit eight sixes and nine boundaries, before he was unluckily run out at the non-striker’s end. But in the end Rajasthan Royal fell 4 runs short of winning the match.

Raja Chaudhary may well be the most controversial personality in entertainment world with allegations from womanizing to drinking and landing behind bars. But it was even more embrassing when millions of people on Bindass Channel saw Raja Chaudhary cheating on his girlfriend Shraddha Sharma, an item girl. They were dating for a year and were about to be engaged when a sting operation from the channel exposed his womanizing ways where he was seen flirting with one of the ‘under cover agents’ of the channel and even smooching the other. Shraddha shattered by the incident, has decided to not only break-up with him but also stop talking to him.

When contacted Shraddha Sharma said, “This is shocking for me. It’s all over between us. He is constantly calling me but I don’t want to have anything to do with him anymore. Many of my friends warned me about getting into a relationship with him, but he always showed how caring and nice he was. He called me and told me that he was under the influence of alcohol but that’s no explanation.”

In the video, Raja Chaudhary boasted that he has had one-night stands with more than 50 women. He said that he was fantasized by a girl from Finland who had flown all the way from that country to spend time with him. He stated that Rahul Mahajan didn’t appreciate him talking to his girlfriend Payal Rohagi. He then smooched one of the girls called ‘Debbie’. Shraddha was actually seeing the entire footage and broke down. The Bindass team offered to take her up and catch him red-handed. What followed was high drama where Shraddha said that she would stop all contact with him.

Speaking about dealing with the trauma Shraddha said, “I guess everything happens at the right time. I am busy doing films down South. One of my films Jeeva has just released and I am shooting for one more film Jaye Ho. I am also doing a couple of reality shows, so life is busy - it will divert my attention from all this.”

Right Yaaa Wrong Movie Review: Right Ya Wrong? You Decide

Right Yaaa Wrong by Neeraj Pathak and produced under the banner of Subash Ghai’s Mukta Arts, is an average thriller. A weaker version of a typical film Abbas Mustan, less on twists and oomph, Right Yaaa Wrong is predictable.

Barring some thrills, the film is flat and could have been better with some more depth in the script. Right Yaaa Wrongil is a copy of the 1995 television movie starring ‘Under Suspicion’ Christopher Reeve and Willaim H. Macy.

Story of Right Yaaa Wrong: The movie begins with a thrilling action scene where Sunny Deol, Irrfan Khan, Deepal Shaw are busting a criminal gang. Director Neeraj Pathak is smart enough to display the qualities of the two police officers Shridhar Ajay (Sunny Deol) and Vinay Patnaik (Irrfan Khan) from the first reel itself. It is evident that Ajay is someone who is very sensitive and likes to give people a second chance while Vinay is someone who is practical in his views and will not spare anyone who violates the law.

Now Ajay is married to a woman named Anshita (Eesh Koppikar) and they have a child as well. However Anshita is sleeping around with Ajay’s cousin and Ajay is blissfully ignorant of all this. There comes a time when in a criminal encounter, Ajay is paralyzed from the waist down, which left him unable to move. Frustrated with life, he calls his wife and his cousin to kill him so that both can claim the insurance money. The greed for money and the opportunities to spend their lives together make Anshita and her lover agree to the point. Ajay actually tells a fool proof plan to kill him but eventually the tables are turned when he shoots both his wife and his cousin.

The police department and the media believe Ajay when he says that he killed in self defense, but Vinay (Irrfan Khan) suspects that something is wrong. He is determined to prove that the murder was planned in advance, but the law does not buy it. So what does Vinay do prove he is right and Ajay is wrong?

Good things in Right Yaaa Wrong
The narrative has a smooth flow in the second half, the film has some substance. The interesting thing about the movie is the bold character of Eesha Koppikar who sleeps with someone else and does not justify her behavior. The editing is crisp, well and does its best to hide the gaps in the script

Not so Good Things in Right Yaaa Wrong

There are glaring minuses in Right Yaaa Wrong. For instance, it seems far-fetched that Anshita and her lover would actually not smell a rat when Ajay tells them to kill him. There is just a momentary hesitation and then they agree; something that does not really seem natural in the plot.
Eesha is dressed in a rather fancy manner for a middle class policewoman’s wife.

The court scenes are filmi and thing like the judge screaming to people to maintain decorum is cliché now. Things like the ‘lie detector test’ was not needed and we see that the judge gives her decision based on factors that the lie detector test, which is not really a ‘legal evidence’ for judicial decisions.

The scenes like lawyer Konkana Sen’s resolve to fight for Sunny Deol’s sake does not really look convincing.The film is low on entertainment because there are not many good scenes between Sunny Deol and Irrfan Khan
Best scene in Right Yaa Wrong
The scene where Sunny Deol proves to Irrfan Khan that he hit a dolphin stone at Eesha Koppiar at a 180 degree angle, on a wheel-chair is commendable.

Performances in Right Yaaa Wrong
Konkana Sen does not have much to do but gives a restrained performance.Eesha Koppikar’s role of an adulterous woman is laudable and the woman really gives her best shot. Check out her wicked smile when she gets to know that there is a way for them to have a kill and get on with the booty. Sunny Deol looks retired but it is to his credit that he has given a restrained performance without mouthing glass-shattering dialogues. Irrfan Khan is the scene stealer in the film who really goes after the film hammer and tongs and pitches in a brilliant performance

Conclusion
Watch it if you want to see a passable thriller

Kolkata Knight Riders Defeat Deccan Chargers by 11 runs

Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Deccan Chargers champions by 11 runs in the opening game of the third edition of Indian Premier League on Friday.

Previously, Angelo Mathews and Owais Shah hit unbeaten 50 runs to rescue Kolkata Knight Riders from a slow start and lead the team to a fighting-161 / 4 against the defending champions Deccan Chargers.

Mathews (65 not out) and Shah (58 not out) put unbeaten century partnership as Knight Riders, from none for two in the first over and 31/4 in the sixth, rallied to cross 150-run mark at the DY Patil Stadium.

The average age of a Bollywood heroine is 28 while the average age of a Bollywood hero is 44. Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan are above 40, Sanjay Dutt and Anil Kapoor are above 50 and Amitabh Bachchan will turn 70 in two years. Aishwarya Rai, Kareena Kapoor, Rani Mukherjee, Preity Zinta, Shilpa Shetty, Bipasha Basu, Vidya Balan and Lara Dutta are in their 30s while Asin, Priyanka Chopra, Celina Jaitley are in their late 20s.

The sad thing is still once the Bollywood actress turns 35, she is promoted from girlfriend to mom or ‘bhabhi’ or does meaningful roles in parallel films. The only exception is Aishwarya Rai who even in 36 has the best of films like Ravan, Action Replay and Guzaarish.

Contrast this with Hollywood, where female stars in their 40s are the norm rather than the exception. Jennifer Aniston, Nicole Kidman, Sarah Jessica Parker, Sandra Bullock, Renee Zellweger, Cate Blanchett and Halle Berry are all in their 40s. Meryl Streep is going strong at 60. It’s not just age. Indian audiences seem to like their heroines single. Most top female stars in India are unmarried, with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Kajol are the only two exceptions.

Akon is Shahrukh Khan’s Guest, Records for Ra

Rap star Akon is in Mumbai as Shahrukh Khan’s guest. He will be recordnig songs for SRK’s Ra One. Shahrukh Khan states, “Yes, Akon arrives on Monday for a rushed three-day visit. He will perform at the launch of a new product of a company whose energy drink I endorse, and then on Tuesday and Wednesday, he will record a song with Vishal Shekhar for Ra.One.

SRK adds, “There are two versions of the song, one in English and the other in Hindi, and Akon wants to sing in Hindi. Though he’s Senegalese by birth, he sings in different languages. I don’t see why he can’t manage Hindi. Akon will be adding his own bit to Vishal Shekhar’s composition. He is very participative - I love his songs.”

Recalling his meeting with Akon, the actor says, “When I met him recently in New York for the first time, I was floored by his niceness. Such a big international star but so down-to-earth. I asked him if he would sing for me and he said, ‘anytime’. Everyone including Kareena Kapoor who has heard the song has loved it.”

Apart from the recording, there’s enough to keep Akon busy. “I will have him home for dinner and also arrange a quick press meet. I don’t want to put too much pressure on his time. After all, the man’s got to sleep too. However, it is just a three-day visit and I guess he will have a lot to do.
