Folder Options missing? Learn how to get it back..
Earlier today, when I was working for a client, I saw that the “Folder Options” is missing in his machine. With out “Folder Options” , we can’t enable/disable hidden files,etc.
So, this is what I did to get it back…
- Go to Start » Run
- Type gpedit.msc and click Enter
- Now, a pop up will come.. Browse to the User Configuration » Administrative Templates » Windows components » Windows explorer
- Now, on the right pan of the window , search for ” Removes Folder Options menu from Tools menu ” . Just Enable it and wait a sec and Disable it again.
Now check.. Your “Folder Options” is back!
