Fruits and Vegetables can Cause Cancer in Smokers.

A scientific study from Europe has recently revealed that fruits and vegetables can cause colon cancer in smokers. Colon cancer is a type of cancer in which there increased unwanted growth of the cells lining the inner areas of colon or rectum.
It is very essential for all individuals to eat fruits and vegetables to free themselves from any risk of cancer. The Dutch National Institue for Public Health and Environment have proved that smokers can be a victim of colon cancer if they have high intake of fruits and vegetables.
The health experts that smokers should not stop eating fruits and vegetables completely fearing they will get colon cancer. Smokers should either cut down on smoking which should be on priority or do not have high intake of fruits and vegetables.
The research was done over 5 lakh people across 10 European countries. The eating habits of smokers were taken into account and the result was concluded. It was found that smokers ran a high risk of getting colon cancer if they consumed fruits and vegetables at an increased rate.
