How can I see Solar Eclipse Clearly?

How can I view a solar eclipse clearly? What are the solar eclipse dos and donts? Find out:
1. You may look at the sun directly when it is completely eclipsed. It is safe to watch the sun when the moon totally blocks the intense light of the sun
2. To see the progression of the solar eclipse, make use of a pin hole camera. Make a pin hole camera for viewing the solar eclipse by using two, thin stiff cardboard pieces. Place th second one below the first one, at a little distance away. When the eclipse begins, stand with your back behind the sun (do not look at the sun directly during the progression) holding the two pieces of cardboard in front of you, letting the sunlight fall on the first. The sunlight will move through the pinhole, making an inverted shape of the sun on the second cardboard piece below. You can increase or decrease the brightness and size of the image by keeping the pieces near or farther apart.
3. To view a solar eclipse clearly, use binoculars or telescope. If you want to use them during the progression, ensure that you fit them with solar filters
4. Watch the eclipse from a safe place. Do not watch it from public viewing places, unless it is managed by professionals in places like a planetarium.
5. Watch the eclipse from a place that is not cluttered, like the terrace of a tall building or a remote place without much of trees or other obstruction. Your view should not be blocked while watching an eclipse
Solar Eclipse Don’ts
* Never look directly at the sun throughout the eclipse progression (during the partial eclipse). Looking directly at the sun can damage your eyes permanently. Therefore, as the sun is being eclipsed make sure you wear solar filters or welders’ goggles. These must be worn after the total eclipse too, as the sun begins to be visible once more.
* Don’t use sunglasses to view the eclipse. Even the best of sunglasses cannot save you from damaging your eyes if you look at it directly
* Don’t worry about the harm the solar eclipse during pregnancy or if you are delivering a baby. Science has proved that an eclipse does not affect the baby inside the womb.
* Don’t buy the filter or film from road side vendors. They can radiate high levels of infrared radiation and are not effective; and can result in damage to the eyes.
