How to Embed a YouTube Video on Your Blog
Many a times you might have seen YouTube videos embedded nicely in somebody’s blog and always felt that even you could do the same with your site. Well, now you will come to know how to embed a YouTube video on your blog.
1. Open YouTube.com and also open the video that you would like to embed on your blog.
2. When you open any video on YouTube, on the right hand side of the video you will notice a grey colored box containing Video URL and Embed link as shown in the image here.
3. When you click inside the box containing code near Embed, the code present inside it is automatically highlighted. Right click on it and select copy.
4. Login into your blog. Here we will talk about the free blogging service of Google, Blogger.com. Create a new post. Just above the area where you type the content for your post, you will see Edit HTML (in Blogger, checkout black arrow in the following image), click on it and then click inside the post area where you want the video to be and then right click and select paste.
5. Once you are done with the post, you can submit the post and then click on View Post (in Blogger) to checkout how the embedded YouTube video looks on your blog.
If you have knowledge about HTML, you can edit the HTML code that you pasted to make the video start as soon the viewer opens that page of your blog.
