India to be the third largest internet market in the world by 2013
India is poised to be the third biggest Internet market by 2013. USA and China will be the biggest Internet markets in the world while India will take the third place. These findings are documented in the “Global Online Population Forecast, 2008 To 2013”, a report by Forrester Research.
Forrester has stated that the current number of Internet users in India stand at 52 million. The report states that India will have an estimated growth of 10-20 percent growth in the next two years. The steadily shifting population that are bracing the Internet and higher amount of spending power among Asia consumers imply that Asian countries like China, Tokyo and India will represent a higher population of Internet users in 2013.
