IPhone 3.0 features and IPhone 3.0 upgrades over IPhone 2.0
The New IPhone 3.0 is set to release in the month of June. Any ideas on how the new iPhone 3.0 will look? There are speculations that though there will be some cosmetic changes here and there, iphone 3.0 will be of the same dimensions as its predecessor. But mostly the new instrument may not have the metallic border and the plastic back will give way to rubbery type material, akin to Blackberry.
The new iphone 3.0 may probably have a 3.2 megapizel camera with autofocus. Unlike the iphone 2.0 which did not have the video recording functionality, this one may just have one. The 3G iPhone is likely to have OLED (Organic light-emitting diode) screen display. The OLED display will substitute the current LCD screen. The biggest benefit of an OLED screen is that it will sustain the battery life of the device. It is believed that the processor will improve from 400 MHz to 600 MHz. This should improve the overall speed of the iPhone.
The cut-copy-paste function will be there in iPhone 3; this one was sorely missing in iPhone 2.0. Users will be able to copy information from online notes and web pages, and move text between different applications. Users who incorrectly paste text can shake the iPhone to get an option to cut it.
Apple iPhone 3.0 will provide multimedia messaging capability with the new 3.0 software allowing users to send each other picture messages from phone. Previously, users could send text messages or snapshots via email only. The new upgrade will help users receive turn-by-turn instructions for driving similar to those in use on GPS navigation devices. The feature will be provided through apps.
