It is risky to have vitamin pills?
There are a lot of people who consume vitamin pills regularly. Researchers conclude that antioxidants Vitamins A, E, minerals and other nutrients, known to tackle aging issues, may just reduce an individual’s life-span. Copenhagen scientists say that taking vitamins A, E and betacarotene may make you 16 percent more likely to die before time. So, is taking vitamin pills and vitamin tablets risky?
Nutritionists advise that there is no problem in taking a multivitamin. Agrees famed nutritionist Carina Norris, “Studies in this review looked at people taking mega doses of vitamins. They apply to those who buy such medicines from internet or specialist health centers rather than pharmacies”. She adds, ” Look at the label, and if it says the level of vitamins is 100 percent of the RDA(Recommended Daily Allowance) or less, then there is no problem. But nobody should take high doses of single vitamin like Vitamin A or Vitamin E, unless prescribed by a doctor”.
