Nitesh Kumar snubbed, cancel dinner with BJP Leaders
In a clear rebuff to its coalition partner, an irate Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar canceled a dinner for the top brass of the BJP in disapproval of a notice featuring him with Gujarat chief minister and the other on aid for Gujarat’s aid during the floods two years ago.
There was bad blood between the two parties, which are in a coalition government over the past nearly five years after Kumar attacked those who released the commerical featuring him with Modi, about whom he was always not on good terms as a political ally.
The JD (U) leader, who has an eye on the votes of Muslims, has modelled himself as a secular leader and in the past had avoided sharing any days with Modi in Bihar. He has
threatened legal action against an advertising agency that used, without permission, his photograph with Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi in a full page advertisement
