Rahul Gandhi Ambedkar Nagar Speech: Why People in UP are Poor

Rahul Gandhi, Congress general secretary and MP gave a short but impressive speech at a gathering at Ambedkar Nagar UP, to mark the anniversary of Doctor Ambedkar. He pointed out that there is a lot of money in this country but the poor never get them. He said that the Congress government at the Center has given a lot of funds for the poor in the UP but he was shocked to find out that the poor in the UP never got any money. He says that when he asks people in UP, “do you want a job?”, all of them raise hands. But when he asks if they have a job card, no one putS their hand up.
Rahul Gandhi added that opposing political parties are always complexed by the fact that he would always go to villages rather than cities as often. He said that people in UP and other villages migrate to Mumbai and other big cities, because they never get the monetary advantage and job opportunities which the center has given to these state governments. He cited the example of pitable things are in Bhundelkhand, as an example. Rahul Gandhi also added that the funds that were sent by the central government would just end up in Lucknow, instead of places like Ambedkarnagar and said there was no accountability about the misappropriation of funds.
However Rahul Gandhi also stated that he will definitely make it an ongoing mission to motivate the youth in UP villages to be self sufficient and strive for their progress.
