Rahul Mahajan Swayamvar winner: Rahul Mahajan’s Bride is Dimpy Ganguly
Rahul Mahajan declared that his bride is Dimpy Ganguly in the reality show ‘Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’ The other two runner-ups were Harpeet Kaur and Nikhunj. Rahul declared that he is marrying Dimpy Ganguly.
Dimpy’s mother blessed the newlywed and the song ‘Tera Hona Laga hoon, khone laga hoon jab se mila hoon ‘romanticized their love.Rahul said that you were waiting to get married with me from the age of 5 and waited a long for me. They both said I love you to each other and exchanged the rings with the bollywood background song Wah Wah ram ji ..
But there is controversy already awaiting Dimpy for breaching Gladrags contract and participating in Rahul Mahajan’s Swayamvar. Gladrags boss Maureen Wadia says that Dimpy has tampered terms of a contract that she signed to be part of the Gladrags Mega Model Hunt 2009. The president of Gladrags Magazine claims she has been repeatedly trying to bring the breach of contract to Dimpy’s notice but has not got a response from the contestant, NDTV Imagine or the Gangulys.
Though she did not win the crown, she was chosen as Miss Potential by the judges. “She sure has show potential so that means that our judges were not wrong about her. But what irritates me the most is that after putting in so much effort training her and turning her into somebody, you hope that she would have a shred of respect for the contract that she signed,” snapped Wadia.
Wadia says she is not surprised about Dimpy’s actions because she had a tough time dealing with the Kolkata-based model even during the model hunt. “I knew she was a troublesome girl from the moment I set my eyes on her. A number of times Dimpy would vanish after late night rehearsals and report at 4 pm for a 10 am call time. I had given her a solid firing during the pageant,” she recalled.
Wadia is in no mood to take things quietly anymore, more so since the show is about to end this Saturday. She plans to take legal recourse if she does not get a reply from those involved soon. “Such convenient amnesia on the part of the models has to stop,” she said. Meanwhile, Dimply will care less about such issues and probably be enjoying marital bliss with Rahul
