Revision rhinoplasty
There are lots of changes in the revision rhinoplasty that will impact patients and doctors in the near future.
Revision rhinoplasty is one of the most complex procedures of improving function or look of human nose done by a face plastic surgeon or an otolaryngologist. Partitions of cartilage, as a rule, are not always available in the revision of procedures and grafting material is often very necessary. Materials of vaccinations might come in the form of ear or rib cartilage, as well as soft tissues of the head (temporalis fascia).
Male rhinoplasty
There are some differences in the male rhinoplasty procedure. As you might notice, there are differences between men and women rhinoplasty. However, some are deemed to be good from a male’s percpective and some are from female’s.
The average angle between the noses of man is 90 – 120 degrees, but it also differs between the sexes. Women generally look better with a large angle, whereas men tend to prefer smaller. This makes the male rhinoplasty different than woman.
Black rhinoplasty
Black rhinoplasty refers to this treatment for black people. Before doing black rhinoplasty, plastic surgeon needs to measure the width of nostrils using intercanthal distance as they have thicker skin and different anatomical proportions. Before narrowing the nostrils, surgeon should take care of the tissues around the floor of nostrils while reducing size of the black nose.
Tip rhinoplasty
Tip rhinoplasty is the process of changing the tip of nose by plastic surgeon. Cosmetically it also includes increasing and decreasing tip of nose, projecting or elevating the tip of nose as per the patience choice. This procedure is the single sitting procedure which is conducted under local anesthesia.
Laser rhinoplasty
Laser rhinoplasty is the procedure for the deformed nose or unwanted projections on the nose called rhinophyma. Co2 is used in the laser therapy to remove the unwanted projections over the nose.
