Tiger Woods::Tiger Woods started the year with a bang and ended it with another bang. Tiger Woods,the legendary golfer was the first billion dollar sportsman in the world in the beginning of the year, and the sex scandal that surfaced at the fag end of the year, killed his reputation.
Tiger Woods was hardly one year into pro golf when he won his first Masters’ Title to become the youngest ever to win a Masters Title. While this changed the face of the golf world Woods made giant leaps. Till now he has received 93 tournament titles. Among them 71 are PGA Tour titles, 14 are major ones: 4 Masters, 4 PGA championships, 3 US Opens and 3 Open Championships. In the fifth year in professional golf, Tiger Woods achieved what is in the mind of every professional golfer: the first ever to hold all professional major championships at the same time in 2001.
