Step-By-Step Guide To Install Offline Gmail
Offline Gmail allows you to access all your Gmail messages offline without an internet connection. If you would like to send an email, you can compose and hit the Send button and it will be saved in the Outbox. Once an internet connection is available, the Outbox messages will be sent immediately.
To view your messages offline, you need synchronize your system with Gmail. Here is the step-by-step to install offline Gmail.
First of all, you need to Enable ‘Offline Gmail’ in Gmail Labs. This can be done by clicking on Settings and then on Labs.

Once, you enable it you need to Save Changes and the Gmail will reload again itself. Now, you will see an ‘Offline’ link on top in your Gmail window.

Click on the ‘Offline’ Link and then you will see a pop-up dialog box ‘Install offline access for Gmail’ , click on Install as it is needed to access Gmail offline.


Once you allow Google Gears to associate with Offline Gmail, you will see the following screen:

Google Gears will now ask you to about placing Shortcut icons at Desktop, Start Menu and Quick Launch. Once you have made your selection, you will see the following screen:

Once the synchronization is done, you will be able to access your Gmail offline without an internet connection by clicking on Offline on top.
