Wanted breaks Ghajini’s record

Salman Khan’s WANTED is not only a superhit but also a record-breaker. Wanted has broken the record set by Aamir Khan’s Ghajini in 2008. WANTED has netted around 7.35 crore from India on its first Monday which is more than what Ghajini had made on its first Monday. The Tuesday collection of both Ghajini and WANTED are running neck to neck. WANTED now enters the illustrious group of all-time blockbusters that have the likes of Sholay,Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Maine Pyar Kiya, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Gaddar, Om Shanti Om and Ghajini.
For the record, Ghajini in Tamil was the biggest hit of 2005 whose Hindi remake become one of the biggest blockbusters. The Telegu movie Pokhiri(2006) is one of the all time biggest hits of the Telugu film industry, whose remake in Tamil (2007) and then in Hindi, in the form of WANTED(2008) became blockbusters.
